Kearny Shopping Center. Pembroke acquired a shopping center in Kearny, NJ in which its anchor tenant was about to enter bankruptcy. We then acquired the lease of such anchor, redeveloped and re-tenanted the entire shopping center. In addition,over several years, Pembroke amassed an assemblage of adjoining properties and was recently appointed co-redeveloper by the Town of Kearny in order to permit the construction of an additional 165,000 SF shopping center which is currently under development.
